My First Ebook Is Up: The Guest Post Mini Guide
4 Dec
Last week, Dave Navarro issued a challenge - a challenge to see whether you could create a product in a weekend. I ended up spending a week creating my first ever product: The Guest Post Mini Guide.
I've been asked many times about my guest posts on Problogger and Twitip. I've had family circumstances prevent me from taking up the many other guest post offers, but that didn't stop me from earning thousands of dollars.
What is the Guest Post Mini Guide?
I'm creating a series of mini guides where I give comprehensive overviews of social media techniques for a really affordable price. This is the first of many.
This guide has 29 pages of the techniques I used to leverage other peoples audiences. I talk about:
- How to find the perfect opportunity to pitch a guest post
- How to maximise the traffic received
- How to leverage your post for further success
How you can save a lot of money
This is the first time I've released a product. Shortly after its release, I realized that it really resonated with the community. I decided to create a bigger product about networking for bloggers.
However, I realized that it isn't fair to those that already bought this ebook. So, everyone who purchases the mini guide will get a free upgrade to the complete e-course when its released.
The e-course contains four modules:
- Guest posting
- Commenting on blogs
- Reviewing products
- Twitter.
You can buy it from e-junkie now for just $20. The product will be released at the end of February.
Over to you:
I'm planning on creating a series of premium products where I expand on the information given in my mini guides. I'm also looking for what type of topics you would like covered in future guides.
I would love to get your feedback via twitter, email or in the comments section.
An affiliate program is also available. I will be creating affiliate support systems and promotional materials over the next month.
Thank you for your support.
If you want further information, I provide consult quality responses in the comments. However if you want the kick arse information that I don’t provide elsewhere, look at these:
My weekly newsletter, Blog Networking Tips. You’ll get the secrets I don’t share on the blog plus exclusive resources and recommendations.
If you want the advanced strategies for Twitter and guest posting, grab my workshop ‘Get The A-Listers On Speeddial’. It will teach you how to grow your influence and grab the attention of the A-Listers. Check out my Twitter landing page for an exclusive discount.
They’re kinda awesome.

Hey Jade,
What about do's and don'ts of networking with the 'big wigs'... that would be a good mini guide as it could deal with comments, buying products, being their affiliates, getting them to notice you... how not to be/sound desperate and so forth!

Nice to see you writing for your own site again!
Looking forward to reading more.
I'm going to watch very carefully how you create products, because I have about 200,000 words of content to put to work.

Jade, just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the Guest Posting Mini Guide -- I thought I knew everything I needed to know about guest posting (ahh, arrogance, my nemesis...) and this really helped me get my head round thinking strategically, not just chucking my posts desperately into the blogosphere.
Am writing up a review, will send you the link to it when I've posted it.
So, big thanks!!

This is inspiring to see - I will be recommending your eBooks to people as a cost-effective way to navigate the social networks.
I really want to try writing some e-books myself - just last week at Northside Coffee Mornings Heidi @dreamingspires Allen was good enough to bring David @davidlongfield Longfield who is helping people get their own e-books published.
Best regards, and keep the e-books coming,
Tony Hollingsworth

Jade,
This seems like a good book to read. I love reading so I'm checking it out when I'm able to buy it.
