Praise for my work:

Ali Luke

I’ve always been extremely impressed by her attention to detail and her diligence and conscientious attitude — particularly in the blogosphere, where she really shines as a rare gem! Jade has the knack of connecting easily with people on every level; she’s generous, thoughtful, and manages to combine sincere friendship with true professionalism.

2010: Beginnings and Endings via Aliventures

The first few months of 2010 saw me on a writing and blogging high. I was thrilled and totally surprised to be listed in Jade Craven’s now infamous “30 Bloggers to Watch” post on ProBlogger, especially as I was working on a new ebook – The Blogger’s Guide to Effective Writing, which came out in early February.

Jade is amazing. Her power lies in her ability to get connected and to then connect others. It might sound a little strange, but it is simply incredible how Jade is a walking teledex of contacts, putting you in touch with exactly the right person to help you succeed in practically anything you want to do. I am grateful to list her here as both a friend and contact to share.

Jade is a great promoter of your story. If she believes in you, Jade will make sure you get put in front of the right people, and will communicate your message even better than you can yourself. I am particularly grateful to Jade for “getting me out there” and putting me in front of a bigger audience, which in turn resulted in more business for me. Jade’s network is impressive, responsive and listens to every word she says. If you get the chance to get on her radar, bleep hard!

Allison Boyer

Jade is hands-down one of the most brilliant networkers on the Internet. She’s always willing to lend a hand with no ulterior motives and offers some of the smartest networking advice online through her website and products. If you get the chance to work with Jade on anything, don’t hesitate – say yes.

5 Golden Rules: Networking via Blogworld

Jade Craven is the queeen of networking. The queen. Seriously, someone get that girl a tiara. She always knows what’s going on at other people’s blogs, who should be on our radars as far as up-and-comers, and what posts we should be reading from others. Beyond that, she makes awesome things happen. She’s like a virtual match-maker for bloggers.

Jade is someone who challenges me in her awesomeness to be better. And I think that’s pretty much the best type of blogger out there.

Controlling the Chatter: Why Moderation is Okay with Me

I think Jade Craven is doing a fabulous job at this on her 40 Bloggers to Watch in 2011 post – she’s jumping into the comments and responding to people to encourage the conversation to evolve beyond “your post is awesome” or “your post is crap.”

Iggy Pintado

I believe that Jade Craven is the “next big thing” in social media. Her knowledge and understanding of this space belies her age. She has an instinctive knack of what works and what doesn’t as evidenced by her blogging success. She is a passionate and capable person who knows what added value is about. Jade has a wonderful personality, is a great friend and someone who I highly recommend.

Darren Rowse

Darren said some really nice comments at a local social media event – you can hear them about 40 seconds in. It was completely unexpected :-)

Jonathan Fields

“Three words. Authentic, helpful and seriously-connected. Actually, I’m pretty sure the first two led to the second, because Jade has that ability to build relationships that are genuine and service minded. She’s not just in it for her, she’s in it for you. And that’s one powerful place to be operating from. I’m always watching and learning from her.”

Johnny B Truant

“Jade is awesome. She has the very valuable and unique skill of being able to network without seeming ‘networky’ in the least, and has a way of doing very genuine, selfless favors for people and — as a nice bonus — ending up with big names ‘owing her one.’ Jade is give-first networking at its purest and most effective.”

Skellie:

“Jade goes beyond networking. She’s built genuine friendships with more influential bloggers than just about anyone in the industry. If you’ve ever wished you could have a team of A-list bloggers on your side, mentoring you and supporting your business, nobody is more qualified than Jade to show you how it can be done. I think you’ll love her energetic and joyous approach to teaching as much as I do!”

A Long Drawn Out Look Back at 2010

We jokingly refer to her as the Kevin Bacon of the blogosphere and if you read her post The 6 Degrees of Jade Craven, you’ll understand why she’s earned that nickname. To say that Jade has been instrumental in putting my name on the map would be an understatement. I’ve learned so much because of my friendship with her and her interview was an eye opening look into relationships and networking in the blogosphere.

How to Create Your Blogworld Follow-Up Action Plan

Jade is a super awesome connector of people who introduced me to so many new people it was crazy. But before we have any of her recommendations as new BlogcastFM guests, we’ll have her on the show.

Top 10 Blogs With Blogging Tips

Jade works behind the blogging scenes with big names like Dave Navarro but likes to keep a low profile. It won’t last. She’s a networking star who’s mastered the art of making friends and influencing people without being a slime ball.

I met her at the Problogger conference in Melbourne and she’s an incredible source of knowledge about everyone and everything. I wonder if there’s anything marketing or social media book she hasn’t read. Jade’s just a whipper snapper but she’s switched on and doesn’t miss a trick. I’m keeping my beady eye on every word she writes and you should too.

37 of My Favourite Blogs, Books and Products

I wish Jade would post more often, but when she does, there’s usually some excellent content on offer. In fact, Jade has just started one of the first ever blogging magazines, with hers focusing on marketing. Definitely one to watch.

How to Get Explosive & Targeted Traffic – An Alternative to Guest Posting

fine example of this strategy being put to use recently can be seen on Jade Craven’s post at TheNetsetter.com, 50 Netsetters You Should Know About.

Take notice of how many comments were made, as well as how many of those comments were actually from people featured in that article. Also, although it doesn’t say on the blog itself, bit.ly tells me that this post has been retweeted 458 times (as of about 24 hours after it’s post). That’s a lot of reach, and I guarantee you that many of those retweets came from people featured in that post as well. Just imagine how many followers total those 50 people have on Twitter alone.

Extraordinary Blog Post Types that Will Grow Your Audience Faster

When the Netsetter blog (part of the Envato) network decided to relaunch, they were smart to ask Jade Craven to write a post for the relaunch week. Jade created a round-up post called 50 Netsetters You Should Know About that was a huge success.

7 Ways to Be a Blogging Rebel and Turn Your Industry Upside Down

Everyone loves ‘Best of’ and ‘Worst of’ Lists. Surprisingly, most industries don’t have them. Most folks refuse to write about them. Why? Because they’ll get attacked, judged, criticized, etc. Just ask Jade Craven who writes ProBlogger’s ‘Bloggers to Watch’ List every year. Heck, Jade doesn’t even call them the ‘best bloggers’, she just calls them ‘worth watching’, yet the article is still anticipated by thousands every year, discussed all around the internet, and at the same time criticized by many.

Praise for my writing:

Jade is exceptionally well connected which is due to her willingness to help in particular, small businesses understand and use the social web and emerging technology. She is straight-forward and honest and combines analytical skills with a creative, innovative approach to problem-solving. Jade is also a competent writer and blogger who first listens and understands the audience before engaging them in a way that can add value to the conversation.
